The Velveteen Rabbit is the stuffed toy that yearns to become real in Margery Williams’s much-loved literary classic, and this month he’s hopping over to the Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts at Brooklyn College for a special performance.
The production of this charming tale of love and devotion features an original musical score, extraordinary puppets, masks, and magic. It’s part of the Target Storybook Series and recommended for children 4 to 8 years old.
“The Velveteen Rabbit” on Nov. 11 at 2 pm. Tickets are $7 and may be purchased online, or at the box office on Tuesdays through Saturdays from 1 to 6 pm.
