Life After Nursery School: District 3 And Citywide Options Panel

Exploring your public school options in District 3? Planning on moving to or within District 3, but not sure to where?  Attended the District 3 School Fair and want to know more about individual schools and how they compare?  Want to know more about citywide options? Deciding between public and private?kidz

Robin Aronow, the founder of School Search NYC, will be moderating a panel of 20 parents representing District 3 and Citywide Options on Tuesday, December 9.  Click HERE to register and find more information.

These parents will discuss the special features of their schools, in a panel, which will be a little bit like speed dating with public schools.  General Education, Dual Language, Charter, and Gifted and Talented Schools will be represented. Schools expected to present include PS 9, PS 75, PS 84, PS 87, PS 163, PS 165, PS 166, PS 180, PS 191, PS 199, PS 452, Manhattan School for Children, Central Park East I, Upper West Success Academy, Harlem Hebrew Language Academy; a possible representative briefly covering PS 145, PS 185, PS 191, PS 241, PS 242, and Hunter, Anderson, NEST+M, TAG and Special Music School. A spreadsheet comparing the features of each school will be distributed.

Life After Nursery School: District 3 and Citywide Options panel will be held at Ansche Chesed, 251 West 100th Street at West End Avenue, on Tuesday, December 9. Sign-in will be held from 5:30-5:55pm; the panel  will run from 6:00-8:15pm. Early cost is $35 per family; the price goes up on December 9th. The information packet on public and private schools is $15, if not purchased previously.
