Food For Thought

While parents all over the city are racing to Staples to
pick up this year’s supply of no. 2 pencils, glue sticks, crayons and folders
plastered with sleeping kittens, we thought we’d let you in on some fun back-to-school
buys that will let your child’s individuality shine. —

Who doesn’t love some PB&J in their day? This classic Peanut
Butter and Jelly wallet
features two zippered compartments and a magnetic
closure to keep things in place. Your child can store paperclips, rubber
bands and of course lunch money in this yummy-looking pouch (just remind him
not confuse the wallet for the real thing!).

Keeping with food-themed school supplies, this Hot
Dog pencil case
looks good enough to eat. Pens, pencils, crayons and
sharpeners fit snuggly into this soft container that is way more fun to open than
your traditional, run-of-the-mill pencil case.

These products are made available by Psychobaby, a Chicago-based company
that sells clothing, shoes, accessories and gifts for fashion-forward children.
All items are customizable with names and themes to further personalize
your child’s things.
