Rosie Pope’s Panel Of Experts

Parents at the New York Baby Show can attend a highly informative Q&A session at 12pm on both Saturday and Sunday. Rosie will moderate a panel of experts who will answer all types of parenting questions from the audience. The panel will include:

Amos Grünebaum, MD, FACOG, is an obstetrician and gynecologist as well as a specialist in high-risk pregnancies (maternal-fetal medicine) with over 30 years of experience in his field. Through his active private New York OB-GYN practice, he has delivered more than 3,000 babies and has supervised more than 10,000 deliveries. He is presently the Director of Obstetrics and Chief of Labor & Delivery at New York’s largest medical center on the Upper East Side of Manhattan and an Associate Professor of Clinical Obstetrics & Gynecology at the leading Ivy League medical college in New York City.

Daron Pope is Mississippi born and New Jersey bred; he’s equally comfortable talking about Brett Favre as he is Jon Bon Jovi. It’s this dichotomous background that allowed Daron to transition seamlessly from college football quarterback and Wall Street wunderkind to breast pump tutorials and sought after diaper bags. While he enjoyed his time in finance, Daron found his true calling in the world of maternity clothing and pregnancy education. In the summer of 2010, Daron took over as President and CEO of both Rosie Pope Maternity and MomPrep.

Dr. Whitney Roban is a pediatric sleep specialist and Founder of SLEEP-EEZ KIDZ. Roban’s philosophy is that parenting is one of the hardest jobs, made impossible when a family doesn’t sleep. With an M.A. in Psychology from New York University and Ph.D. in Clinical and School Psychology from Hofstra University, Roban began her career creating psychoeducational books and games for use in child psychotherapy for Childswork/Childsplay. Throughout her years working as a child sleep consultant, she has helped hundreds of children sleep soundly every night.

Young Actors at Strasberg

Young Actors at Strasberg&nbsp;offers a comprehensive array of acting programs for students in grades 2 &ndash;&nbsp;12. Classes provide kids and teens with a foundation in Lee Strasberg's Method Acting and the tools to succeed in the professional industry &ndash;&nbsp;all while maintaining a fun and playful environment. Programs are tailored to encompass students at all levels, from those just beginning their acting journey to Broadway veterans and professional child actors. Young Actors at Strasberg alumni include Lady Gaga, Sophia Lillis, Angelina Jolie, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson and Rosario Dawson! Young Actors&nbsp;Programs are available online and in-person at our New York Campus, located in Union Square. Saturday, After-School and Online classes are offered during the traditional school year (Fall, Winter, and Spring) and Monday through Friday day camps and intensives are held in&nbsp;July and August. Our D&amp;D Summer Camp session are a one-week experience.&nbsp;&nbsp;Monday &ndash; Friday.&nbsp;&nbsp;Each day will be 3 hours of gaming (with 2 breaks build in).&nbsp;&nbsp;15 total gaming hours for $180.&nbsp;&nbsp;If you have played with us before, you are entitled to 10% off.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Need your kids, nieces or nephews, grand kids or neighbor&rsquo;s kids to be occupied for a bit so you can get work done &amp; take care of your to-do list? Maybe your tween or teen is still a bit isolated and craves connection with their peers? Whether your teen/tween has played D&amp;D before or is brand-new to the experience, this safe space brings players together to have fun and solve problems as a team in ways few other online opportunities do. SPEAKITALY NYC offers stimulating and entertaining lessons for children 0 to 16 years through a wide combination of activities based on the communicative approach anchored in the Common European Framework of Reference: active learning (group work, role plays, etc.) and practice exercises aimed to improve listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
