To make it easier for families to search for apps, games, movies, and TV shows, Google has recently introduced a function to Google Play that is so obviously helpful that many users will probably assume it’s always been there.
Simply put: There are now special designated home-pages and search filters labeled “Family,” like the children’s section of a department store (for books, look for the “Children’s Books” label).
They’ve introduced a number of other family-minded conveniences, including the ability to browse by age. We think that parents and children, but especially children, will appreciate the new character pages, in which all content related to a beloved character—like Dora the Explorer or Elmo—is grouped together.
