Spend Sunday with the family

Sundays are much more fun now, thanks to Family Sundays at the Nassau County Museum of Art!

Families enjoy a docent-led walk through of the museum, where the works of Copley, Peale, Whistler and O’Keeffe are on exhibit in the Artists in America wing. Also, view works by talented artist Martin Kline in the Contemporary Gallery.

The piece de resistance? The whole family can create a masterpiece to take home, with supervised art activity that’s fun for all ages.

The tour begins at 1 pm, followed by arts and crafts beginning at 1:30 pm. Family Sundays are free with museum admission, parking is $2 and free for members. Reservations are not required.

Young Actors at Strasberg

Young Actors at Strasberg&nbsp;offers a comprehensive array of acting programs for students in grades 2 &ndash;&nbsp;12. Classes provide kids and teens with a foundation in Lee Strasberg's Method Acting and the tools to succeed in the professional industry &ndash;&nbsp;all while maintaining a fun and playful environment. Young Actors at Strasberg alumni include Lady Gaga, Sophia Lillis, Angelina Jolie, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson and Rosario Dawson! Young Actors&nbsp;Programs are available online and in-person at our New York Campus, located in Union Square. Saturday, After-School and Online classes are offered during the traditional school year (Fall, Winter, and Spring) and Monday through Friday day camps and intensives are held in&nbsp;July and August.
