Kick off the weekend with great happenings at the World Science Festival! Later, kiddos can enjoy fun performances like “Saltbush” at New Victory Theater, and a musical version of Alexander and the Terrible Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day, For a dose of superhero fun, check out a very special Avengers exhibition at Discovery Times Square, then head over to the Kids Author Carnival at for a chance to meet and greet with favorite authors! Finally, an informative demonstration at Explore + Discovery Learning Center will teach parents all about tummy-time solutions.

Offered in locations all around the city, this festival offers little ones a chance to learn about important subjects like “The Science of Weather,” “The Night Sky From Brooklyn Bridge Park,” “DNA Extraction and Analysis” and much more. Don’t miss an overnight at the Intrepid Museum and the Ultimate Science Street Fair in Washington Square Park! Various prices, though many events are free.
