Mussel in on the fun with ‘Happy Clam Show’

Long Island’s rich maritime history comes to life during “Saltwater Stories” weekend at the Long Island Children’s Museum, with special performances by Lena and the Happy Clam Band.

Listen to stories from local baymen, boat builders, clammers and decoy carvers, and learn about their family traditions. Then enjoy “The Happy Clam Show,” starring Lena and the Happy Clam Band, which combines music and activities for children ages 3 and up.

Jan. 11 and 12 at 2 pm. $5 plus museum admission.
