This summer, Hauppauge Pediatrics began offering its prenatal counseling services to Suffolk residents. The office’s atmosphere is relaxed, comfortable, and friendly. “The office has a traditional ‘Ma and Pa’ feeling to it,” says owner Trisha Tsay, M.D. “I take as much time to see and treat a patient as they may need. I will never rush them.”
Dr.Tsay, who trained in pediatrics and newborn medicine at Stony Brook University Hospital and Tufts Medical Center, treats children ranging from newborns to college students. The goal at Hauppauge Pediatrics is to help every child grow healthy, strong, and prosperous. Dr. Tsay prides herself on treating children from the time they are babies until the time they become adults. She also offers advice to mothers-to-be on natal care.
“I will meet a patient at the office if they call me after hours,” Dr.Tsay says. “I have met patients very late at night when their child needed immediate care.” Hauppauge Pediatrics has excellent referrals to hospitals including, Stony Brooke University Hospital.
Hauppauge Pediatrics also offers free counseling services to residents who have United Health Care, Oxford, and Etna health insurance policies.
Hauppauge Pediatrics is open Monday-Friday, 8am-8pm, and Saturday-Sunday, 8am-3pm.
