fiVe BELoW, the epic value retail store is opening up its first Brooklyn location August 29, at the Gateway Center, just in time for back-to-school shopping!
Tweens and teens alike will find must-have items for the school year like school supplies, sporting goods, tech, fall fashion, and beauty products—all for only $5 and under. Fans of the animated movie “Frozen” will be able to find licensed merchandise including t-shirts, nail sets, posters, and more
Kids can also explore the eight “store worlds” in the fun and colorful 7,500-square-ft location: Style, Room, Sports, Tech, Crafts, Party, Candy, and Now.
At the grand opening this Friday and Saturday, fiVe BELoW will be offering customers five-cent hot dogs, as well as the chance to win store credit. The first 100 people in line on Friday will receive mystery tickets worth up to “100 fiVe BELoW Bucks,” with one lucky winner receiving a $100 shopping spree.
J.C. Penney will also be opening up their first Brooklyn store on the same day at the Gateway Center, so for any parents who want to finish up back-to-school shopping all in one day; this would be a great time to go!
fiVe BELoW’s opening will mark the Philadelphia-based company’s 10th location in New York State in just four years, with plans to open additional Brooklyn locations over the next few years.
Their Gateway Center store will be open Mondays through Saturday from 10am to 9pm, and Sundays from 11am to 6pm.
