Dyker Lights: A Neighborhood’s Christmas Ode

Visitors across the city flock to Brooklyn’s Dyker Heights neighborhood each winter to catch a glimpse of its elaborate Christmas light displays, lovingly dubbed “Dyker Lights.” (The main drag can be found on 84^th Street between 11^th and 13^th Avenues.) New York Family wanted to document this year’s festivities so we tapped photographer Seth Kushner, a native of the borough whose book The Brooklynites proudly displays his affection for his hometown.
