Dive Into The Magical World Of Potions And Planting At The Gallow Green Rooftop Bar

Got a green thumb? The Gallow Green rooftop garden bar in the McKittrick Hotel in Chelsea will have your kids feeling like they’ve walked into a forest. Strewn about the rooftop is a spectacular of vegetation that will transport you into a world where only your little woodland-lover belongs. They will be hosting a “Children’s Potions & Planting Tea Party” where boys and girls ages 5-10 will be learning about the world of gardening in a eco-friendly manner. Stuffed animals and dolls are welcomed as a free plus one as they also get their own miniature seat and personalized gift.

For $25 a person, you and the fam get to experience a traditional British high tea platter filled with fish fingers, cakes, tarts, refreshing pink lemonade, and decadent mini sandwiches. Stick those pinkies up while learning the wonders of planting. The gardening will engage the kids minds and hands as they learn how to mix potions. (Tip: it’s best to bring your own recycled bottles for the potions so you can take them home.) Delve into a world where pixies may reside to make take-home mini flower press, plant soil, and seeds.

There are only two events left, so reserve your slots! The next event is Saturday, July 22 at 10am and the final one for the season is August 12 at 10am.
