Clown around with Irondale this month.
On Nov. 13, the Fort Greene space celebrates its own Kid’s Day with a workshop devoted to the art of clowning.
All skill levels are welcome for the two-hour session, where you’ll learn physical comedy skills to engage and mesmerize your audience, find out the magic of repetition, how to make the simple hilariously difficult, and much more.
For those already acquainted to the art, tune up your own comedic timing in order to make whatever you’re doing more vibrant and alive. But most of all, come ready to move.
“Clowning” at Irondale [85 South Oxford St. near Lafayette Avenue in Fort Greene, (718) 488-9233], Nov. 13 from 1-3 pm. $10 for adults, $5 for children. For info, visit www.irondale.org.
