It’s a high-octane mix of not-so traditional Chanukah music at Flushing Town Hall on Dec. 9 when Shtreiml performs.
Led by harmonica innovator and vocalist Jason Rosenblatt, the eclectic group — which features Rachel Lemisch on trombone, Thierry Arsenault on drums, Joel Kerr on bass, Michael Winograd on clarinet, and Ismail Fencioglu on oud and vocals — performs a mix of Eastern-European Jewish and Turkish music.
Come for dance lessons at 1 pm and stay for a fantastic musical celebration of the festival of lights.
