In keeping with the Mexican heritage focus of their spring Frida Kahlo exhibition, the New York Botanical Garden will host the “Canciones de mi Padre,” or “Songs of My Father,” concert on Daffodil Hill. A throwback concert, The Villalobos Brothers, Gizel Xanath, Humberto Flores, and other artists will honor Linda Ronstadt by performing tunes from her seminal album backed by a full mariachi band.
