Located along the Hudson River, Riverside Park stretches from 72nd to 158th Street. The Park not only has a great view of the River, but it’s a great place to visit with your family! This summer take a trip over to Riverside Park to relax, play, and learn!
Your energetic children will love the play areas that Riverside Park has to offer! Parents will dig into their inner child and want to play on these playgrounds as well!
Dinosaur (97 th Street and Riverside Drive)
Take a trip back to the Jurassic era and climb on two fiberglass plant eating dinosaur structures, Triceratops and Hadrosaur. Along with the play dinosaurs this playground also has sandboxes, swings, and a spray shower!
Hippo (91st Street and Riverside Drive)
The playground received it’s name after hippopotamus art was installed in 1993. Play and hangout in one of the hippo structures or relish in the other parts of the playground such as swings, wooden play areas, slides, jungle gyms, and more!
River Run (83rd Street and Riverside Drive)
Swings, slides, and seesaws occupy this playground! You’re children will love the large playground and for the little ones there is a baby playground with a smaller slide! There are plenty of trees to keep you cool on a warm day this summer!
Neufeld (Elephant) Playground (76th Street and Riverside Drive)
What’s great about this playground is that it has separate play areas, one for younger children and one for older. The playground also includes swings and a sandbox!

Bird Sanctuary (116th and 124th Street)
Since it’s original owner, John James Audubon, the park has added berry trees and water features to attract birds and butterflies. Along your walk you can hear birds singing and catch a glimpse of them!
Garden People’s Garden (90th and 91st Street)
Take a walk through the beautiful landscaped part of Riverside Park. It’s a picture-perfect place to take a walk this summer! Fun fact, the ending scene in the movie, You’ve Got Mail, was filmed here!
Warsaw Ghetto Memorial (83rd Street)
During World War II six million people were killed when Adolf Hitler and the Nazis took over Germany. This memorial is to remember those who were killed. Take a look back into history while visiting the monuments.
