     STARTING FRIDAY

    Enjoy the 2014 Whitney Biennial with a series of family programs, from a stroller tour for new parents on Friday to an interactive tour for kids on Saturday. Get creative! (Friday-Saturday)

    Karma Kids is offering a special Pajama Glow-in-the-Dark yoga class. At the end, there will be a dance party with cookies and milk. Namaste! (Friday)

    The Museum of Mathematics is celebrating Pi Day. Expect exhibits, pizza, and guest speakers. Go STEM! (Friday)

    STARTING SATURDAY

    The popular chapter book “Peace, Love, And Cupcakes” has been turned into a musical at the Vital Theatre. Enjoy the show! (Saturday-April 26)

    Puppet fans will love the translation of Leo Lionni’s beloved Caldecott Honor books into theatrical performances starring Swimmy, Frederick and Inch by Inch at the Tribeca PAC. Take your seat! (Saturday)

    “We’re Going On A Bear Hunt” is a fun-filled family show at Symphony Space. Prepare for an adventure! (Saturday)

    Meet the author and illustrator Kevin Henkes at Symphony Space as he discusses his creative process. Learn something new! (Saturday)

    Nathaniel Olson, a baritone, and Kevin Murphy, a pianist, will perform a neighborhood concert at the Advent Lutheran Church in Manhattan, as presented by Carnegie Hall. Don’t miss this performance! (Saturday)

    SUNDAY

    Bring your little one to the night spot Le Poisson Rouge, which has been transformed into a childproof play area for a Baby Loves Disco party. Party down! (Sunday)

    The New York Transit Museum’s is having families sew small pieces of fabric together to create a larger image, similar to how the tiles in subway stations form a bigger, beautiful image. Quilting bee time! (Sunday)

    Rock out at the Jewish Museum to the Dirty Sock Funtime Band whose “carnival-like funk rock” is perfect for Purim. Sing along! (Sunday)

    Join the 92Y for a Purim Carnival featuring games, a petting zoo, and a magic show. Have a ball! (Sunday)
