Winter Carnival in Bryant Park
Celebrate winter during Bryant Park’s First Annual Winter Carnival. All ages are invited to participate in an eclectic mix of outdoor seasonal activities including ice golf, juggling workshops, a make-your-own paper snowflake craft, curling lessons, a hockey shootout, and more. Broadway Playhouse: Meredith Willson at Merkin Concert Hall
Introduce your kids to the music of Broadway lyricist and composer Meredith Willson this Sunday at Merkin Concert Hall. Primarily known for his Broadway hit musical “The Music Man,” whose cast album won the first ever Grammy for the then- new category, Willson also wrote the score for another Broadway hit, “The Unsinkable Molly Brown.” In his early days in Hollywood, Willson composed the film score for Charlie Chaplin’s “The Great Dictator,: for which he was nominated for an Academy Award.
