Get ready New Yorkers because the iconic Vale Rink and Winter Village at Westlight are now open for the season, making it the perfect destination this winter season! Both of these destinations are located at The William Vale and have many fun and cool features that families will love.

The Vale Rink (which could be found at the 23rd Floor Outdoor Rooftop) will bring you into a magical winter wonderland as you look over the Manhattan skyline. What makes the Vale Rink different from other rinks you see around the city is that it is made from Glice’s sustainable synthetic ice, which doesn’t require the use of power or water! Not only is this ice option eco-friendly, but it also makes skating on it during the cold weather more enjoyable because it doesn’t give off cold temperatures! The rink will be open Wednesdays through Sundays and times and tickets can be purchased online.

While the kids are spending time making memories on the ice rink, parents can relax in the Winter Village at Westlight! This village is made up of 12 private heated chalets where you can cuddle up and enjoy the 360 degree view of the city! The village is the perfect setting to enjoy great food and drinks with friends and family without having to beat the cold weather. The Winter Village is open Monday through Sunday and reservations are required.

Brooklyn Robot Foundry - Virtual Classes

Brooklyn Robot Foundry offers super fun online robot-building classes for children 2-13 years old!&nbsp;&nbsp;Each week, students are introduced to new engineering concepts and components while building that day&rsquo;s robot in their own &ldquo;workshop&rdquo;.&nbsp;&nbsp;All classes maintain a very low student-to-teacher ratio, allowing for plenty of individualized instruction and socializing. The supplies are shipped in advance and classes are led by amazing instructors, taking all the pressure off parents.&nbsp;&nbsp;The Foundry&rsquo;s main focus however, is that kids have fun, get creative, and enjoy being part of this STEAM-loving community!&nbsp;

Young Actors at Strasberg

Young Actors at Strasberg&nbsp;offers a comprehensive array of acting programs for students in grades 2 &ndash;&nbsp;12. Classes provide kids and teens with a foundation in Lee Strasberg's Method Acting and the tools to succeed in the professional industry &ndash;&nbsp;all while maintaining a fun and playful environment. Programs are tailored to encompass students at all levels, from those just beginning their acting journey to Broadway veterans and professional child actors. Young Actors at Strasberg alumni include Lady Gaga, Sophia Lillis, Angelina Jolie, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson and Rosario Dawson! Young Actors&nbsp;Programs are available online and in-person at our New York Campus, located in Union Square. Saturday, After-School and Online classes are offered during the traditional school year (Fall, Winter, and Spring) and Monday through Friday day camps and intensives are held in&nbsp;July and August.
