Halloween is almost upon us! Beyond the highlights below, don’t forget to check out our full roundup of the coolest Halloween parties and parades in NYC. (P.S. STARTING FRIDAY

See some of film’s best puppetry at BAM’s Puppets on Film Festival, whose line-up this year includes a Little Shop of Horrors sing-along, creative shorts, and more. Don’t forget the popcorn. (Friday-Sunday)

Center with a brand-new show, Luminocity, featuring acrobats, clowns, trapeze artists, and animals performing amazing stunts. Wow! (Friday-Sunday)

 

STARTING SATURDAY

Get ready to get spooked at Brooklyn Botanic Garden’s Ghouls & Gourds, where pumpkin patch and potato crafts fun combine with live entertainment and a parade for mad Halloween fun. Be brave! (Saturday)

This weekend, haunted trains and ghosts of hungry workers rule the High Line, which is transforming into a spine-tingling urban park. Get the scoop right here. (Saturday)

FIAF’s “Le Petit Prince” celebration means performances, musical readings, storytime, and a film screening of the classic Litte Prince story. J’adore! (Saturday)

Studio E Art Classes

Young Actors at Strasberg

<p>Young Actors at Strasberg offers a comprehensive array of acting programs for students in grades 2 – 12. Classes provide kids and teens with a foundation in Lee Strasberg's Method Acting and the tools to succeed in the professional industry – all while maintaining a fun and playful environment. Programs are tailored to encompass students at all levels, from those just beginning their acting journey to Broadway veterans and professional child actors. Young Actors at Strasberg alumni include Lady Gaga, Sophia Lillis, Angelina Jolie, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson and Rosario Dawson!</p> <p>Young Actors Programs are available online and in-person at our New York Campus, located in Union Square.
