See some of film’s best puppetry at BAM’s Puppets on Film Festival, whose line-up this year includes a Little Shop of Horrors sing-along, creative shorts, and more. Don’t forget the popcorn. (Friday-Sunday)

Center with a brand-new show, Luminocity, featuring acrobats, clowns, trapeze artists, and animals performing amazing stunts. Wow! (Friday-Sunday)

 

STARTING SATURDAY

Get ready to get spooked at Brooklyn Botanic Garden’s Ghouls & Gourds, where pumpkin patch and potato crafts fun combine with live entertainment and a parade for mad Halloween fun. Be brave! (Saturday)
