All smiles with Oscar the Grouch!

It was a sunny day at the Sesame Workshop Digital Playground. Sesame Workshop reaches millions of kiddos around the world (think over 150 countries), making the world a better place through educational experiences that give us kids the skills to be “smarter, stronger, and kinder.” Little ones like yours truly were invited to explore the digital playground and discover the virtual jungle gym of over 45 apps and over 150 e-books. This playground is fun and functional and the possibilities to learn while having laughs are endless. Here are some of my favorite apps that you should not miss!

Cookie Monster’s Challenge

Skills and summary: This app will teach kids self-control, focus, memory, following directions and problem solving–essential skills for kids of all ages.

How to play: This first joint Sesame Workshop and PBS app is a super fun app filled with brain building games and exercises where you play through sets of mini games to help Cookie build a cookie maker to feed Cookie. Nom nom nom!

Sesame Street GO

Skills and summary: This is the most comprehensive collection of Sesame Street television episodes anywhere. The new app launching later this year has added games, music and my personal favorite, short forms series like Elmo’s World, Abby’s Flying Fairy School, and more.

How to play: It’s a subscription video on demand service, offering videos, music, games, and more with special features like sorting by your favorite Sesame Street friend!

Sesame Street S’more

Skills and summary: A digital magazine teaching diverse educational skills.

How to play: This interactive subscription magazine includes games, character stories, and fun, learning activities in every single issue.

Breathe, Think Do with Sesame

All these amazing apps are available wherever and whenever you are so you can have Sesame Street anytime you want! Find them all HERE!
