The science of golf

It’s a birdie, an eagle, a spaceship? Yes, it’s all that and more. It’s “Rocket Park Mini Golf”! Children will putt themselves through nine fantastic holes at the New York Hall of Science and learn a thing or two about spaceflight, too. What better way to exercise your mind and body than weaving your way through spaceships, planets and sand traps? The mini course is open now through Dec. 31 (weather permitting, of course) on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Admission is $6 for adults, $5 for children and seniors, plus admission to the museum. Hours are Fridays, 2–5 pm, Saturdays and Sundays, 10 am–6 pm.

New York Hall of Science [47-01 111th St. at Avenue of Science in Corona, (718) 699-0005 ext. 353]. For more info, visit www.nyscience.org.
