Scoop: Cool Class From New York Jedi’s SaberKids

The force is alive and well here in NYC, thanks to the New York Jedi and their SaberKids program. SaberKids, which is described as a “juniors and tweens stage combat class for learning the art of Light Saber,” launched in Manhattan last summer and is going strong.

The lightsaber classes (and birthday party options) for kids ages 7-13 combine a geek-tastic love of all things “Star Wars” with actual technical stage combat know-how. The result is an out-of-this-world kids’ class that’s as active for the body as it is for the imagination.
