Mother’s Day With NYC Kids

Looking for a fun place that actually caters to the kids (and you) this Mother’s Day?
Personally, we love to eat out (I like to be waited on for my special day, don’t you?) and I like my kids to have a terrific time, too!
Here are some off-beat restaurant picks for your darling day that are sure to guarantee your family a great meal and a great time.

Garage Restaurant and Cafe – Greenwich Village

Want a chill and relaxing Mother’s Day brunch? Garage is offering a Mothers Day four-course, white tablecloth brunch beginning at 10am, offered at $45.95, childrens menu is $19.95. The reason I would take my kids: there is Live Jazz throughout the morning and my kids love to boogie (and if they get loud, the music will drown them out).

Oceana – Midtown West

I love Seafood, and Oceana serves if up well. But what about the kiddies who aren’t so hot on shrimp and lobster? Oceana to the rescue! They are featuring a three-course kids menu on Mother’s Day. Appetizer choice: mozzarella sticks, potato skins or salad. Entree: cheeseburger sliders, chicken or Oceana fish ‘n chips. $28/12 years or younger – GOTTA LOVE THAT!

Palm Restaurant – Tribeca

One of my families favorite places to enjoy a quality family meal is at the Palm in TriBeCa. They really do welcome families and the kids meals are amazing (and BIG – two kids can share one for sure!). It isn’t cheap, but moms will receive a $25 bonus card to use toward your next visit!

Rosa Mexicano – All Locations

Celebrate Mother’s Day at this upscale Mexican restaurant. There will be a brunch buffet, entertainment for kids and a special gift for moms.

The View at the New York Marriott Marquis Hotel – Times Square

Your ears may pop as you take the elevator up to the 47th floor, where the aptly named View revolves. Yes – the entire restaurant spins (very slowly) while you eat – kids and adults of all ages love the 360degree views! $75 for adults, $37.50 for children. For Mother’s Day, the buffet will feature a selection of hot and cold dishes, a carving station, fresh waffles and complimentary mimosas for Mom.
