FourLeaf Air Show at Jones Beach

Nassau County Fleet Week 2025: Military Helicopter Landings

A combined team from the US Navy and US Marine Corps will bring helicopters to Eisenhower Park. The event will also have an EOD last rope demonstration, performances by Navy Band Northeast and Navy Ceremonial Guard, and interactive military displays.

The Villages of Cedarhurst and Lawrence, together with the Lawrence Cedarhurst Volunteer Fire Department and Lawrence-Cedarhurst American Legion Post 339, invite everyone to join the largest Memorial Day Parade in the Five Towns. Enjoy watching and cheering for the Veterans groups, police and fire departments, many local organizations and schools that will march along Central and Cedarhurst Avenues to pay tribute and remember those who gave their lives for our country. At the conclusion of the Parade, stay for a very inspiring and meaningful Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony at Andrew J. Parise Park in Cedarhurst.

This year’s Village of Lindenhurst Memorial Day Ceremony and Parade will continue the long-standing tradition of honoring the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. The parade and services will begin at 10:00 AM. The VFW will hold its ceremony at Breslau Cemetery and proceed to Fireman’s Memorial Park. From there, the full parade will kick off at 11:00 AM and proceed west on Hartford Street and then head south on North Wellwood Avenue. The parade will end of Village Hall, where the Village Memorial Day Ceremony will take place (approximately 12:00 PM).
American Legion Post #94 Memorial Day Parade

The Memorial Day Parade in the Village of Babylon, hosted by American Legion Post #94, brings the community together with local organizations, schools, first responders, and more. The parade will continue to the Village Gazebo on Montauk Highway for Memorial Day Services.
