Families with special-needs children can explore the Queens Museum in the Museum Explorers Club on March 11.
Come explore the museum and register for Saturday sessions to learn about the various types of exhibitions. Explore art with your children. Families will have an opportunity to make art in the studio inspired by the work in the exhibitions.
Exploration and play will help bridge connections to the artwork and build literacy. Groups will include up to six families affected by autism. Feel free to include parents, grandparents, and siblings when registering for the workshop. The only requirement is that all registered guests must make art! Advanced registration required.
