Kick up your heels: Irish step dancing at the Walt Whitmas Birthplace State Historic Site

The lassies are kicking up their heels to perform at the Walt Whitman Birthplace State Historic Site on Long Island on March 5.

Little lassies and lads of all ages will enjoy a performance by the teachers and students from the Mulvihill-Lynch Studio of Irish Dance. The award-winning dancers answer questions and teach some Irish dance steps. Following the performance children can have their face painted by Miss Carin and take a tour of the historic site.

Irish Step dancing, March 5, at 1 pm. Tickets are $9 per child, chaperones free.

Young Actors at Strasberg

Young Actors at Strasberg&nbsp;offers a comprehensive array of acting programs for students in grades 2 &ndash;&nbsp;12. Classes provide kids and teens with a foundation in Lee Strasberg's Method Acting and the tools to succeed in the professional industry &ndash;&nbsp;all while maintaining a fun and playful environment. Programs are tailored to encompass students at all levels, from those just beginning their acting journey to Broadway veterans and professional child actors. Young Actors at Strasberg alumni include Lady Gaga, Sophia Lillis, Angelina Jolie, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson and Rosario Dawson! Young Actors&nbsp;Programs are available online and in-person at our New York Campus, located in Union Square. Saturday, After-School and Online classes are offered during the traditional school year (Fall, Winter, and Spring) and Monday through Friday day camps and intensives are held in&nbsp;July and August.
