Holiday Train Show at New York Botanical Garden

Hop aboard and catch a ride at the New York Botanical Garden for the annual Holiday Train Show from Nov. 19 through Jan. 16, 2017.

More than 150 New York City landmarks are recreated in miniature out of bark, nuts, leaves, and other plant parts. Large-scale model trains zip around such familiar sites as the Statue of Liberty and Rockefeller Center. A recent addition of 3,000-square-feet of exhibition has made room for new trains, bridges and tracks.

Holiday Train Show, Tuesdays through Sundays, Nov. 19 to Jan. 16, 2017; 10 am to 5:30 pm (see website for extended hours). Closed on Thanksgiving. Tickets $20, $10 for children; and $30, $18 children, on weekends. Reservations strongly recommended.
