NYC’s fall theater schedule is packed! Your kids will surely enjoy the entertainment and family-bonding time that these theatrical shows will provide. Here’s what’s on tap for autumn:

August 24-October 9

“Little Red’s Hood”
Swedish Cottage Marionette Theatre 
Your little ones will definitely relate to Little Red. She’s a smart-phone-obsessed kid living in NYC. Her world is turned upside down when she travels to the country to deliver treats to her grandma, and runs into Wulfric the Wolf. “The Princess and the Pea”

This modern version of a classic fairytale will have the whole family in stitches. Watch as Prince Prince attempts to find the girl of his dreams. The only problem is she must be a princess—according to the pea test! “Meet Me at the Fountain: The Canary Flies at Midnight”
Lincoln Center
For the second year running, your child can act as a full blown detective for the day during Lincoln Center’s immersive theater adventure! “Stinky Kids the Musical”

“20,000 Leagues Under the Sea

“Carnival of the Animals”
The Schimmel Center

“Aladdin”

“Legends and Visionaries”
Danspace Project Inc.
New York Theatre Ballet is putting on another installment of its popular “Legends and Visionaries” series. “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe”

The exhibition will trace Greene’s storied life, from her roots in a predominantly Black community in Washington, D.C., to her distinguished career at the helm of one of the world’s great research libraries. Through extraordinary objects―from medieval manuscripts and rare printed books to archival records and portraits―the exhibition will demonstrate the confidence and savvy Greene brought to her roles as librarian, scholar, curator, and cultural executive, and honor her enduring legacy.</p>
