Egg Rolls & Egg Creams Festival

This year for the first time ever, three cultures will merge during the annual Egg Rolls & Egg Creams Festival at the Museum at Eldridge Street. Fest-goers can nosh on kosher Chinese, Puerto Rican, and Jewish-style food, participate in a Yiddish, Mandarin, or Spanish language lesson, listen to Chinese opera, make Puerto Rican masks and more. This event is free.
World’s Fair Anniversary Festival
Flushing Meadows Corona Park

What better way to explore the history of the World’s Fair than by visiting Flushing Meadows Corona Park this Sunday for the World’s Fair Anniversary Festival! Fest-goers can revisit the 1939-40 and the 1964-65 fairs with tours of historic fair sites throughout the park, carousel rides, face painting, puppet shows, dance and musical performances, and international food such as Belgian waffles. Festival admission is free; carousel rides are half-price.
