Don’t let the dog days of August get you down. Celebrate summer with your kids by taking them to see Patrick Raftery perform his brand of rock-a-silly music all over town.
Raftery and the Rock-A-Silly band will play on Aug. 1 and Aug. 15, from 6 to 9 pm, on the Boardwalk near the South Fin Restaurant as part of the South Beach Sunset Festival. Children can have their faces painted and there will be fireworks, too!
On Aug. 4, Raftery goes solo for an interactive performance at the Garibaldi-Meucci Museum in Rosebank, from 2 to 4 pm. On Aug. 12 at 2 pm, he performs as part of the monthly silly sing-along series at the Staten Island Children’s Museum in Snug Harbor. Grab one of the many instruments available, shout out a request, and get ready to rock with Raftery.
