If being a parent is a full-time job, what happens to the mothers who mean business when it comes to their careers? The Second Annual Mom Moguls Breakfast, a special event at The Water Club, will ask the thought-provoking “Can we really do it all?”  on Wednesday, May 7th. In an attempt to answer these questions and much more, a savvy panel of women who cultivated both a business and their kids will discuss raising a family, starting a company, and attempting to find the sweet balance of it all.

Presented by Divalyssicious Moms, the discussion will be moderated by Lyss Stern (the founder of divamoms.com) and Kelly Killoren Bensimon, an author, socialite, and former model. Topics will range from managing your “working mom guilt,” how to start a business with a baby in tow, and whether a perfect balance between career and family is even possible. A few notable panelists include Rosie Pope (Rosie Pope Maternity), Amber Sabathia (CCandy), Julie Cole (Mabel Labels), and Lauren Monahan (UPPABaby Strollers).  As these working moms share their personal stories and strategies, guests will enjoy a variety of breakfast refreshments.

Divalyssicious Moms is a social network which specializes in connecting New York mothers all over the city.  Founded by Lyss Stern, the company, which self-identifies as Sex and the City meets Mommy and Me, hosts a plethora of kid- and parent-friendly events featuring fashion, fitness, entertainment, and more.

Please note that space is very limited at this event. RSVP at [email protected], and be sure to include a couple of questions for the panel to answer!
