In honor of Mother’s Day, our friends over at Birth Day Presence is hosting their Annual Help A Mama Up Day tomorrow, on Friday, May 10th. The idea is this: dragging your stroller up and down the subway stairs in the city is a very tough solo act. Our friends came up with the great idea of helping our community by lending a hand to moms who are tasked to do just that.
To sweeten the deal, you’ll be treated to coffee, bagels, and a cute T-shirt in return for your kind help. The breakfast and info session, where you’ll be assigned to a subway location, will be held at 9am; volunteer hours for helping to carry strollers will be from 10:30am to 12pm noon.
