    Fall is definitely in the air! This week seems to be an especially busy week for kids’ events. To make life a little easier, we’ve sorted through the bunch to bring you the week’s best of the best.

     

    Saturday, September 22-Sunday, September 23

    Queens County Fair
    Queens County Farm Museum
    11 am-6 pm
    Always a crowd favorite, the 30th annual Queens County Fair is back with the Amazing Maize Maze, contests, prizes, and free crafts for children. Admission: $8/adult, $5/child.

    Fall Mamas Expo
    Museum Of The Moving Image
    10am-4pm
    Get the insider scoop on the local services, products, and experts that are right at your fingertips throughout New York City, especially in the borough of Queens. Hosted by some of our favorite bloggers over at The Mamas Network.
    Sunday, September 23

    Mid-Autumn Moon Festival Family Day
    Museum of Chinese in America
    10 am-5 pm
    In honor of the fall moon, MOCA’s Mid-Autumn Moon Festival Family Day will feature shadow puppet plays, lantern making, a mooncake workshop, and more. Free with museum admission.

    92nd Street Y Streetfest
    Lexington Avenue and 92nd Street
    12 pm-5 pm
    With a Kids Fun Block, the first annual Manhattan Kosher Grilling Challenge, and a myriad of live performances, this free fest is sure to be a winner for the whole fam!
