The Paper Bag Players Saddles and Sunshine introduces kids to an old-fashioned “Western welcome” at Symphony Space. With lively dancing and music, kids (recommended for kids ages 3 to 8) and adults will be on their feet dancing and singing along with plenty of opportunities to be a part of the fun! This dynamic show starts at 11am.

Have an afternoon of family fun at the Jazz for Young People’s family concert, What is Latin Jazz? Come with a curious mind and interest to find out what exactly Latin jazz is as Bobby Sanabria performs a blend of Afro-Caribbean and Pan-American rhythms with jazz. Catch the show at 1pm at the Lincoln Center Rose Theater.

We’ve all told Mother Goose’s nurseries and fairy tales to our kids, but don’t forget to introduce Father Goose! Influenced and inspired by Jamaican and other Caribbean music, Father Goose performs his own nursery rhyme sing-alongs to children while encouraging parents to reminisce about their own childhoods. Catch him at 12:30pm at the Hip Tot Music Festival.

Head to le Poisson Rouge for a day of early Valentine’s Day fun at Baby Loves Disco: Valentine’s Day Party. From DJs spinning ‘70s and ‘80s classic tunes to bubble machines and lots of dancing, this is the perfect place for little ones of all ages to enjoy a hip afternoon while you can spend time socializing with other parents! Doors open at noon so bring your groovy moves as soon as you can.

Listen to Bari Koral Family Rock Band’s great melodies and imaginative lyrics at Rockefeller University. Plus, special guest Kathryn Ulrich, a kids’ yoga, music, and movement rock star teacher, will be making an appearance. Children of all ages can enjoy the show starting at 11am.

If you missed The Paper Bag Players Saddles and Sunshine, be sure to watch it with your kids at 3pm at Symphony Space!

Set off a musical spark in your kids by bringing them to Baby Got Bach at 92Y. This is the perfect opportunity for children ages 3-6 to play with real musical instruments, conduct sound experiments, and even build their own instruments! Not to mention, there’s going to be a live classical concert and chance to sing and play along with the musicians. Catch a show at 10am or 12pm.

There’s something about watching ballet during the wintertime that gives it an added serene and magical feel. Watch A Vital Theatre Company’s production of Angelina Ballerina the musical where they will perform all types of dance, including hip-hop, modern, the Irish jig, and of course, ballet. Bring your children if they’re ages 3 and up at 11am or 1:30pm.

Come and join Danish musician Vibe Normann who will introduce kids to Scandinavian music using English interpretations during her Scandinavian Sing-Along at 1pm. Can’t make it? She’ll be holding this event at the Scandinavian House on Saturdays; check here for specific dates.

If you want your family to experience some oldies, come to The Not-It’s! concert at Symphony Space starting at 11am. Mixing beats from the Go-Go’s to ‘90s power punk into songs about everyday kid stuff, your family will develop an appreciation for kiddie mosh pits!

Aviator Sports Summer Day Camp

<p>Aviator Sports Summer Day Camp offers five daily rotating activities such as swimming, ice skating gymnastics, rock climbing, parkour, indoor/outdoor turf, and courts plus more in its ample 175,000 sq. ft. facility and 35-acre outdoor area.
