Weekend Planner: April 22-April 26

We simply couldn’t be happier that spring is finally here in the city. The air is warming up, flowers are blooming and all the wonderful spring holidays have arrived. Easter weekend is upon us (don’t forget about Earth Day, too!) and we’re ready to run wild with egg hunts and Easter activities across the city. Take your pretty pick! —

Today is Earth Day! Set aside some time to take care of our planet with a family art project at Wave Hill.

Just how many eggs can you find around this big city? We’ve rounded up the best Easter events this weekend for your family to enjoy.

Three words to keep in mind for Saturday: rain or shine! Brooklyn Bridge Park is hosting its 5th Annual Spring Fling, a celebration filled with live music, dancing, yoga and face painting.

New York families, start your engines! The New York International Auto Show‘s official opening day is this Saturday. Wander the show floor with fellow gearheads, admire some of the finest automobiles on offer, or simply stop by the Disney “Cars 2” exhibit to snap a photo with characters from the summer blockbuster.
