Broadway on the Hudson presents a sampler of a lifetime, with excerpts from “Annie,” “Newsies,” “Cinderella,” and more at Brookfield Place. Dive in! (Friday)

Marvel at some seriously awesome art installations, enjoy hoppin’ dance shows, and make some art yourself at the DUMBO Arts Festival in Brooklyn. Get creative! (Friday-Sunday)
