The Max Cure Foundation And Flywheel Sports Host A Cycling Event To Support Kids With Cancer

On Saturday, March 16, the Max Cure Foundation and Flywheel Sports will host their first annual “Be Brave N’ Fly” event to raise money to support researching and curing children with cancer. By participating in indoor cycling classes, supporters can pedal together to benefit children’s health.

One hundred percent of the proceeds raised in “Be Brave N’ Fly” will go directly to the Max Cure Foundation, and will be put towards kids’ cancer research, as well as providing low-income families with access to the resources that their children with cancer need.

The Max Cure Foundation was established in 2008 by David Plotkin–the father of a little boy, Max, who was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. Over the years Max has received treatment and has steadily grown healthier. Having experienced the pain, fear, and joy of treatment in his own family, Plotkin created The Max Cure Foundation, to help other families and raise awareness.

On March 16, you can join local Flywheel gyms on the Upper East Side, as well as in East Hampton, Englewood, NJ, and Millburn, NJ, to cycle towards a better tomorrow for these kids. Classes start at 2pm, and last for one hour. Ticket price is $75.
