PAW Patrol Live! will bring an all-new live stage show, “A Mighty Adventure” to The Theater at Madison Square

A New Adventure
The Nickelodeon hit show will be adapted for the theater, and will follow the Paw Patrol pups as they pick up from their box office hit movie “PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie.” The new on-stage cameo follows Chase, Marshall, Skye, and the rest of the pack after they save Adventure City using their Mighty Pup Powers. Now it’s time for the “PAW-some-est” street party ever. But when supervillain scientist Victoria Vance feels left out of the festivities, she unleashes her latest invention to crash the party and steal the spotlight for herself! The show highlights teamwork and will feature awesome interactive fun, making it an ideal show for children and adults of all ages.
Paw Patrol made its television debut in 2013, capturing the hearts of children around the world. The Canadian animated series focuses on the main character, Ryder, who leads a crew of search and rescue dogs. They work together on missions to protect the shoreside community of Adventure Bay and surrounding areas.
Each dog has a specific set of skills based on emergency services professions, such as a firefighter, a police officer, and an aviation pilot. They reside in doghouses that transform into customized vehicles, or “pupmobiles,” for their missions. They are also equipped with special hi-tech backpacks called “pup packs” that contain tools relating to the pups’ jobs.
Puppy Love Around the World
The series quickly grew to stardom, with its aforementioned first movie earning a whopping $205 million at the box office. The franchise has gone on to tap notable celebrities to portray the voices of the beloved pups, including Kim Kardashian, Yara Shahidi, and Jimmy Kimmel.
The pups have also stolen the hearts of a couple of adults, with famed singer Meghan Trainor receiving a ‘Pup Talk’ from the famed fighters. “Every day, I wake up wanting to lead with self-love and positivity, not only for myself and my family but for my fans,” she told Billboard. “But we all have those moments of doubt, especially when I’m trying to reach so many people. Rubble and Chase showed up at the perfect time with the perfect message and reminder that while I can’t fix the whole world, I’m proud of all I’m doing!”
Other notable celebrities, including Paris Hilton, Elizabeth Chambers and Kim Kardashian, have noted that their children love the crime-fighting pups, making the most adorable photo cameos at the movie premiere in 2019.
Experts say that taking children to live theater enhances their creativity, imagination, social skills, and emotional intelligence, while also fostering critical thinking and empathy.
Paw Patrol Live! recommends explaining to your child that the experience will be different from watching the television show. The show will only have one break in between, and the audience will be encouraged to clap and sing along.
