New York Kids Club, an enrichment center for children, plans to open two new locations in Brooklyn—Park Slope and Williamsburg. The center offers many classes for Brooklyn kids, including art, cooking, fitness, and music. And with the pick-your-own classes, parents can easily accommodate their schedules. New York Kids Club also offers birthday party, seasonal camp, and open play time packages.
With six locations already in Manhattan and Brooklyn, New York Kids Club plans to open two state-of-the-art children enrichment centers in Park Slope and Williamsburg. The Williamsburg center plans to open by September 2013 and the Park Slope location is slated to open in the spring and, a first for NY Kids Club, will feature a playground on the building’s roof.
Founder Pamela Wolf combined her experiences as an entrepreneur and mother of four to create the original New York Kids Club in 2001. NY Kids Club offers two 17-week terms during the school year and a shorter 13-week summer term. Parents can sign up their children for one or multiple classes that best fit their schedules. “We try to accommodate everyone and everything,” says Liza Zeneski, director of special events.
Classes range from fitness and music programs to art programs, cooking courses, and Spanish classes. In collaboration with local schools, NY Kids Club offers a Walk Over program where instructors will meet children at school and walk with them to the facility. NY Kids Club also offers birthday party, seasonal camp, and open play time packages.
