Get ready to dance!
With the Calpulli Mexican Dance Company’s youth dance program, your child can train and take dance classes informed by Mexican cultural traditions. Classes, held at the Astoria School of Fine Arts now through May 7, focus on regional dances from Mexico along with lessons in history, movement fundamentals, esteem building and team work. Families of all backgrounds are invited to this unique arts experience that’s fun, physical and educational.
Best of all — the classes are supported by voluntary donations, so they’re open to all.
