Opening this Saturday, the Museum of the Moving Image presents “Great
Adaptations,” featuring some of the best book-to-screen adaptations of recent
years. —
Combining great literature with big-screen entertainment, the Museum (in coordination with Relativity Media) is
doing a special preview screening of Megan McDonald’s Judy
Moody and the Not Bummer Summer this Saturday, May 21 at 1pm. In case you aren’t familiar (have you been living under a rock?!), third-grader Judy Moody plans the most wonderful summer of her life. But, with the help of her little brother, Stink, and her fun-loving Aunt Opal, Judy’s plans go comically awry. Starring Jordana Beatty and Parris Mosteller, the film preview will be followed by a Q&A and book signing with the author and actors.
