Imaginations take flight

Go fly a kite — literally!

Riverside Park hosts a kite-making workshop on Aug. 20, where children can let their imaginations soar as they make, then fly, their own airborne contraptions.

Live entertainment and other activities will capture their attention when the wind dies down.
