GIVEAWAY: Quidditch World Cup At Randall’s Island

The legend of Harry Potter lives on! If you’re a HP
fan (or just enjoy a good sports match), you don’t want to miss the real-life Quidditch World Cup V. —

On November 12-13, Randall’s Island will host over 2,000 caped, broom-riding athletes
from 100 international college and high school teams at the Quidditch World Cup V. The weekend-long extravaganza is non-stop entertainment–basically a cross between an outdoor medieval festival and a highly competitive athletic tournament.

This year’s annual Quidditch World Cup will feature opening and closing ceremonies, live music from Wizard Wrock bands (as well as local NYC acts), a half-time show, circus performers and improv comedians, live owl demonstrations, wizardly
gear for sale and costumes abound. Vendors will be dishing out turkey legs,
Bertie Botts beans, tummy-warming BBQ and chili, hot chocolate, Butterbeer, real beer and so much more.

The Cup is kid friendly and dog friendly. So gather the gang, don your best Potter gear, and hop aboard the water taxi to Randall’s Island next weekend!
