The White Plains Police Department invites you to celebrate the 42nd Annual National Night Out, promoting crime and drug prevention, strengthening neighborhood spirit, and highlighting the importance of police-community partnerships. All residents are encouraged to lock their doors, turn on outside lights, and come together with neighbors and first responders for a fun-filled evening featuring over 50 local service providers and vendors, live music, entertainment, food, free raffles, children’s activities including bouncy houses, face painting, giveaways, and a dunk tank, and emergency demonstrations by the White Plains Police Special Operations Division and the Fire Department.
South Salem Fire Department Annual Carnival and Parade

The Beacon Sloop Club’s Annual Corn Festival

Celebrate corn season with fresh-picked, sweet Hudson Valley corn, boiled and served with your choice of butter and special toppings. There will be two solar-powered music stages providing live music throughout the day. Numerous food and craft vendors will be on hand. Families can enjoy many free activities for children in addition to a dedicated children’s stage. The Beacon Sloop Club’s boat, the Woody Guthrie, will be taking guests on free sails from the Beacon Harbor, weather permitting. Sign up for an afternoon sail to relax and experience the beauty, power and grandeur of the Hudson.

The Dutchess County Fair is the largest agricultural fair in New York, with plenty for every member of the family to do– thrilling rides, great food and entertainment around every corner.
