Soaring 1,131 feet above the city and extending 65 feet from the 100th floor of 30 Hudson Yards, this one-of-a-kind musical experience unfolds on Edge’s open-air viewing platform—weather permitting. In the event of inclement weather, the performance will move indoors to the sky deck, which still offers stunning 360-degree views of the Manhattan skyline.

Guests will be treated to sweeping vistas and songs under the stars as a live string quartet puts a classical twist on favorite modern hits. The selections are popular, and kids will likely recognize a few, if not most, of the songs.

The musical themes for upcoming Candlelight Concerts at Edge include:

July 31: A Tribute to Queen and ABBA

August 14: A Tribute to Coldplay and Adele

August 21: A Tribute to Whitney Houston and Lauryn Hill

Plan to Arrive Early

Families are encouraged to come early and soak in everything Edge has to offer—there’s no age minimum, so you can bring the whole family. The sky deck remains open to the public until 11 pm so Candlelight is open to all Edge guests.

The Edge experience combines a stunning live concert under the stars and skyscrapers. Performances begin at 9:30 pm and run 90 minutes, making them a good length for active kids to enjoy since the show isn’t too long. However, the late hour might be a challenge for younger children. Entrance is general admission (first-come, first-served), so arriving early not only guarantees the best views but also gives your family time to explore and settle in before the music begins.

The Candlelight Concerts are sure to be special summer soirees. Tickets for the concerts are $47 for adults, $42 for children, and $45 for seniors, and they include access to the Edge observation deck. Candlelight by Fever at Edge is open to all ticketholders, and tickets are on sale, so you can grab them now.

What makes the Candlelight Concert Series at Edge special is that it offers a unique setting to enjoy live music with family, combining impressive city views and a peaceful, candlelit atmosphere. It’s an opportunity to experience something different together, whether you’re longtime concertgoers or trying something new. For families looking for a memorable summer outing, and in particular music lovers, this event provides a blend of culture and scenery that’s hard to find elsewhere in the city.

Candlelight is a global concert series produced by Fever that presents live music performances in iconic venues enhanced by candlelit settings. Each concert features skilled local musicians performing classical arrangements of popular modern songs, creating an intimate and engaging experience. Since launching, Candlelight has hosted millions of attendees across more than 150 cities worldwide.
