Pysanky” comes to Blue Heron Nature Center on March 24 and 25.
This Ukrainian method of Easter egg decoration will be explored with a two-day workshop geared toward older teens and adults using this unique, wax resist method.
All you need is a little imagination — and lots of wax and dye — to create your own folk art masterpiece.
The fee for the course is $15, $12 for students with their own kystka (tool).
“Pysanky” at Blue Heron Nature Center [222 Poillon Ave. between Amboy Road and Hylan Boulevard, (718) 967-3542] on March 24 and 25, from noon to 3 pm. For more, visit www.nycgovparks.org.
