Visitors across the city flock to Brooklyn’s Dyker Heights neighborhood each winter to catch a glimpse of its elaborate Christmas light displays, lovingly dubbed “Dyker Lights.” (The main drag can be found on 84th Street between 11th and 13th Avenues.) New York Family wanted to document this year’s festivities so we tapped photographer Seth Kushner, a native of the borough whose book The Brooklynites proudly displays his affection for his hometown. Here, a collection of his best snapshots. To see more of his work, visit sethkushner.com. Happy holidays!
