Dig
into your inner paleontologist at “The
World’s Largest Dinosaurs” exhibit at the American Museum of Natural History. Explore the anatomy of the super-sized species that thrived for 140
million years–the long-necked, long-tailed sauropods. Studied by paleontologists, biologists, botanists, animal nutritionists, and engineers alike, the world’s largest dinos were extraordinary creatures. —
This special exhibit will teach you how such large animals breathed, ate, moved, and survived so many years ago. With innovative teaching elements, this exhibit will also take you inside the giant dinosaur bodies to illuminate how heart rate, respiration, metabolism, and reproduction work in such large-bodied creatures. At the end of the exhibition, you will find an interactive excavation to discover how dinosaur fossils are found in the field.
The recently-opened exhibit will be running until January 2012! And we’re giving away 4
family four-packs (includes general museum admission and exhibition entrance). To enter this giveaway, go to our Facebook page
and leave on comment on why you’d like to win! Deadline is Tuesday, May 31. For more on the American Museum of Natural History’s “The World’s Largest Dinosaurs” exhibit, click here.
