If you’re at your wits ends about your wee one’s temper tantrums, then head over to Barnes and Noble, where children’s author Artie Bennett — the “Butt Book” scribe who put the “stupendous” in “Poopendous” — will read and sign copies of his new picture book, “Peter Panda Melts Down,” on Feb. 22.
The beautifully illustrated volume tells the tale of Mama Panda’s assorted meltdowns as she copes with Peter Panda, her rambunctious 3-year-old whose emotions run amok at the best of times. Peter has a tendency to resort to fury whenever things don’t go his way — in the car, in the library, in the supermarket, well, almost anywhere he can hurl a hissy fit.
Artie Bennett reads and signs copies of “Peter Panda Melts Down” on Saturday, Feb. 22 at 2 pm. Free.
